Hudsonian Godwit showing well this afternoon on the sandbank opposite the Camp Site at Little Waihi.

Cheers Phil. About 10m or so. Took about 2 hours and a lot of wading. Fortunately it stood on the right side of the island for me.
Hudwits are one of my favourites. Lovely birds.
