Photos of a mostly white Kereru taken at Pukaha National Wildlife Centre, Mount Bruce, by Ranger Tara Swan have been posted on Facebook.

This bird is resident at Mount Bruce. First seen a year ago. Hangs around the kaka feeding arena.

Is it getting more white? One near Hamilton got whiter over several years, suggesting it had progressive greying, until it was completely white.
