Had I known I would be the first and only person entered into the 60-74 age group, I may have had other thoughts on submitting. Could we have a 60-62 category?

It seems as though most birders in nz are from two generations back. Are people under 20 losing interest?
Just a question, because in the country I used to live in (tanzania) there is definitely a lot more interest in birds among younger people. However the birdlife there was exceptional

You have to bear in mind the medium we are using, and that which many have used before this might bias the results a little. I think boards like this are more popular with younger generations, so I hope to see more getting involved.
