Gull-billed Tern - Invercargill

Watched a Gull-billed tern being chased by a Southern black-backed gull at the end of Awarua Bay road out on the mudflats this afternoon. Tide was just starting to come in. There have been a number of reports of this species around the Awarua Bay area in the past few years.
