"Don't worry" - until a second one turns up, that is.

The myna (thankfully just one) was there at 4:30pm, feeding in the red zone area by Hawke Street.

I have seen the Myna every two or three months over the passed two years, six times this year alone. I just have not posted here (old news now), but it hasn't moved that far from when first seen in April 2018.

I just saw a pair of mynah now in New Brighton. They seemed pretty close and following each other as I tried to get clear pictures and videos

Re: Myna in New Brighton, Christchurch
That's bad because it suggests they are either breeding there or an additional bird has made it there from further north. Being a highly invasive introduced species, the city council should get rid of them before they start breeding/spreading.
