Little egret and three kotuku Lake Forsyth

Little egret and three kotuku Lake Forsyth

Spotted one little egret and three kotuku at Te Roto o Wairewa/Lake Forsyth, in Canterbury this morning. The Little egret was loosely associating with two kotuku and three white-faced heron. A third white heron was seen at Caton's Bay and then a fourth near the outlet, but I could not be sure if the fourth was not one of the earlier birds seen.
