Miranda Wader ID for Aussie

Hi

Visiting Miranda from Adelaide for the first time I photographed this wader. It is medium sized; between a Sharpie and a Bar-tailed Godwit and was the only one that I saw there. Being new to NZ birding I would appreciate some help ID'ing the bird.
