If any one wants to say any thing about my black falcon please put it here as it was getting very of topic on the other one.
On the 6th of Feb 2013 I saw a Black Falcon flying parallel with the road along the Wairau Valley, Marlborough. I was on a bus run with my dad to Picton and back. This was on the way and there were no passengers on board.
It was dark with no white round the chin though maybe lighter(Did not really notic), bigger than a Nz falcon(not much). Pointed wings with rapid flapping. Possibly lighter very dark brown(maybe black)-grey flight feathers. Long tail, not forked.
Feet; not noted but possibly grey.
Should I submit a rare bird report?

Definitely submit a rare bird report. It may not get accepted, but you should try. There is nothing to lose.
