Black-billed gull at Foxton Bird Sanctuary

Post by rogerandmavis »

Spotted this lone black-billed gull amongst several Caspian terns and Eastern bar-tailed godwits yesterday. The location was just the other side of the vehicle barrier on the estuary beach.

Spot the two banded adult male bar-tailed godwits ...they had yellow rings on legs. Never mind this 11-month-old Black-billed gull & first spring (less than 13-month-old) Caspian terns.
